The development timeline as seen on Kickstarter.

Crema started developing the Creature Collecting Game Temtem in August 2017. Since then, they have been mainly focused on laying the foundation of every aspect of the game and creating content for the Kickstarter campaign, which started on the May 29, 2018 and was fully funded within 5 days. It ended on July 2, 2018. However, backing was still made available through Paypal as secondary platform until July 10, 2018.

Current Status

The Kickstarter campaign is now over. An option to pre-purchase a Deluxe Edition of game, not including any of the Kickstarter-limited bonuses, is available through Backerkit. Kickstarter and Paypal backers may also upgrade their tiers to any of the non-limited ones, up to Guardian.

Crema has been defining the pipeline for each area of development and is ready to begin full production and start creating the final content for the game. Their next milestone in development is to roll out the first Alpha. The Alpha releasing in November 2018 will feature the full first island, at least 30 Temtem, full single-player mechanics and basic multiplayer functionality which include 1v1 battles, chat and seeing other players within the world.
